"MONUMENTAL OILS"-Solo show-Taos, NM September 27-October 18, 2008
Opening reception Saturday September 27, 5 pm to 7 pm
Wilder Nightingale Fine Art presents a solo exhibition of large-format(up to 12 feet long) landscape paintings by Kit Lynch. Lynch's paintings feel animated, almost filmic, like Van Gogh on fast forward. Everything that is still in a traditional landscape is in motion in Lynch's work. The monumental oils are are a departure from the on-location pastel work she has done for 20 years. Come see a show of imagination, exaggeration and places of the heart.
“TAOS INVITES TAOS” art invitational September 26 - October 13, 2008.
Opening Night-September 26, 5 PM.
Kit will be there and has work in this most prestigious show which paired with “The Taos Open” represents 450 Taos County artists at the Taos Convention Center. "GOOD ENOUGH to EAT" exclusive exhibit of Kit Lynch oils and pastels in Doc Martin's restaurant in the historic Taos Inn, Taos New Mexico. Mid- November 2008 to Mid February 2009... dates and reception to be announced.

Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 PM Cozy and largely walkable!
Come visit me in my studio at Purple Canyon Arts which will be open for the 13th annual Pilar Studio Tour. I show exciting new original works, discuss teaching opportunities, and prints will be available. This studio tour captures the spirit of a tiny New Mexican village along the Rio Grande and is a favorite in Northern New Mexico. Twelve artists will open their homes or studios.
